Cookie Policy

Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies Simvolve uses to keep you signed in and understand site usage.

Overview

A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. Simvolve also uses local storage for guest play. We do not use advertising cookies or sell cookie data. This page should be read with the Privacy Policy.

Essential cookies

When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets session cookies so we can recognize you on later requests. These are required for cloud accounts, saved simulations, and paid plans. If you block them, sign-in will not work.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (for example, which pages load). This helps us keep the site reliable. It is first-party analytics on our hosting platform, not an ad network.

Payments

Checkout and the customer portal are provided by Stripe. Stripe may set its own cookies on those pages to process payment securely, prevent fraud, and remember portal sessions. Those cookies are governed by Stripe’s policies.

Local storage (not cookies)

Guest simulations, guest play credits, and some client caches are stored in the browser’s local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent as cookies. Signing in can upload local simulations to your cloud library. Clearing site data for simvolve.com removes guest saves.

How to control them

  • Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies will log you out.
  • Use a private window if you want a session that is easier to discard.
  • Log out of all devices in account settings to end every signed-in session on the account.
  • Clear site data to wipe guest local storage.
  • Paid checkout still requires Stripe’s payment pages to function.
