Who we are

Simvolve is the service at simvolve.com. This policy covers the website, accounts, simulations, billing, and related support. Questions: simvolve@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the product:

  • Account: email address, display name, password (stored hashed by our auth provider), and optional avatar.
  • Simulations: scenario text, world setup, stats, turns, choices, and advisor or play chat you create.
  • Billing: plan, billing interval, play-credit balance, purchased credits, Stripe customer and subscription IDs, and one-time checkout session IDs for credit packs. Card numbers are handled by Stripe, not stored by Simvolve.
  • Usage: whether a request succeeds, credit spends, and basic device or session signals needed to keep the service working.
  • Guests: simulations and a monthly credit wallet saved in this browser’s local storage until you sign in or clear the site data.

How we use it

  • Create, save, and run your simulations.
  • Authenticate you and sync cloud saves when you sign in.
  • Meter play credits and provide paid plans and credit packs.
  • Send simulation prompts and relevant world state to our AI provider so the product can generate turns, choices, and chat replies.
  • Prevent abuse, debug outages, and improve reliability.
  • Respond when you email us about billing, privacy, or support.

Who receives it

We use specialized providers. They process data on our instructions, not to sell your account:

  • Supabase — authentication and cloud storage of accounts, simulations, and billing metadata.
  • Stripe — checkout, invoices, payment methods, and the customer billing portal.
  • OpenAI — generation of simulation text from the prompts and context we send on your behalf.
  • Vercel — hosting the app and first-party analytics about how the site is used.

We do not sell personal information. We do not run third-party advertising networks on Simvolve.

AI processing

When you generate a turn, preview an action, or chat in a simulation, the relevant prompt, scenario, and conversation are sent to OpenAI so we can return a result. Details are in the AI and data policy. We do not use your simulation content to train our own models.

Cookies and local storage

Signed-in sessions use essential cookies from our auth provider. Guest play uses local storage on your device. Analytics and payment pages may set additional cookies. See the Cookie Policy.

How long we keep it

Cloud simulations and account data stay until you delete them or close the account. Guest data stays in the browser until you clear it. Billing records needed for taxes, disputes, or fraud prevention may be kept by us or Stripe for longer, as the law allows.

Your choices

  • Update your display name and password in account settings.
  • Delete individual simulations from your library.
  • Delete your cloud account in settings. That removes your user record and stored simulations we hold. Stripe subscriptions are cancelled when deletion succeeds.
  • Email simvolve@gmail.com for access, correction, or other privacy requests.
  • Clear this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser to remove guest saves and the guest credit wallet.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, deletion, portability, objection). We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. If we decline a request we will explain why, including any legal exception.

Children

Simvolve is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13. Paid plans require that you can form a contract (generally 18 or older, or with a parent or guardian who pays).

Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, and third-party platforms that are built for auth and payments. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. See Security for practices and how to report a vulnerability.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after the update means you accept the revised policy.
